Does anyone think that it is a possibility to make real Transformers like the robots in the live action film?

Basically I am trying to ask if with the recent A.I. increase and the interest in robotics technology is it possible to make robots that can transform into vehicles or other machines?Does anyone think that it is a possibility to make real Transformers like the robots in the live action film?I do not see the point of transforming.



No one has yet built a robot that could navigate across a city without bumping into anything or a robot with natural language understanding.



We could use an autonomous robot that could pick up a log or debris and haul it to the side of a road and load it into a truck. How about an autonomous street (sidewalk) cleaner.

I expect this will become possible but it may be a while before it is cost effective.



I doubt transforming robots will ever happen since I don't see why it would be worth the expense.Does anyone think that it is a possibility to make real Transformers like the robots in the live action film?
Probably, but it would be really expensive.

To make robots which can transform is not that hard. I sure it can be done today, but you will need to find some motivation an resources to do it.



To make robots as smart as the ones on the film is another thing. This is impossible with "the state of the art" of today technology. May be in some decades will be possible.Does anyone think that it is a possibility to make real Transformers like the robots in the live action film?It has been done... well, maybe not quite like in the Transformers movie, but this servo-driven humanoid does in fact transform from robot to car and back.

...there are more out there today that have an even sleeker appearance with more intricate functionality than this one.

As far as AI is concerned, although capable of being programmed to react to their environment, some humanoids (including this one) are controlled remotely via human intervention.

Hey, i think that so possible to making a transformed robots but not like films one ... to making a transformed robot u will need more creative design to making so compact and capable to transformed...



as my motto : no one impossible in this world as far as that is in human ratio OK...



Of course a transformer film not for real but it will coming real as star trek movie... Believed or NOT ??
