I recently purchased the Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Blu Ray off of eBay, and the item has already shipped. I have just discovered that WalMart has an exclusive edition that has IMAX footage, which takes up the whole screen. Is it worth buying the Wal Mart edition when I already have the regular Blu Ray? How long is the IMAX sequence, and is it worth buying the movie again?Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Blu Ray vs. Wal Mart Exclusive BIG SCREEN Edition?Unless yuou have a huge screen I max doesn't make sence to me, if you have the two disk set then that should be sufficent, the second disk has a remarkable video of Linkin Park playing "New Divide" which I think is probably worth the extra price of the second disk alone...Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Blu Ray vs. Wal Mart Exclusive BIG SCREEN Edition?IMO, it would not be worth it. It sounds a little gimicky to me.Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Blu Ray vs. Wal Mart Exclusive BIG SCREEN Edition? Is it worth it? Personally, I don't think it's worth buying the movie at all. That was one of the worst movies of the last decade.
I mean seriously, if only a Prime can kill another Prime, then how the heck did Megatron kill Optimus Prime? Now that just doesn't make sense.
And if all it took to resurrect Megatron from the bottom of the ocean was a shard from the original cube, then why didn't they use the other shard to resurrect Optimus? A 6-year-old could have written a better storyline.
I would also like to know, how did they resurrect Megatron by using a piece of the same box that killed him in the first movie? That's like shooting someone in the head to kill them and then shooting them in the head again to heal them.
But the real question is, if transformers are able to turn disguise themselves as humans (like Megan Fox), then why would they instead disguise themselves as cars? Would it not be much easier to blend in to our race looking like other people?
It was a retarded movie, therefore I don't see how buying a first copy of the movie would be worth it, much less a second one. I would rather pay a hobo to kick me in the crotch. At least that way I could retain a fraction of my dignity.Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Blu Ray vs. Wal Mart Exclusive BIG SCREEN Edition?
just enjoy the blu ray you purchased, don't worry about it too much.
I have the Walmart version, and in two scenes, the black bars go away and it fills the screen. It's nice, but total time for both scenes is about 2 and a half minutes. One part is the battle in the forest where prime is fighting all alone, and the other scene is the massive decepticon sucking up the sand near the end. Not a big deal. The same thing is done on the Dark Knight, but there's just one version, not two like Transformers. Save your money, no need to re purchase in my opinion.
