What software do they use to make Transformers(the actual robots)?

My friend says they use a combination of softwares, but Autodesk Maya is the main one. Is that true?What software do they use to make Transformers(the actual robots)?If you are referring to the CGI robots in the Transformers movies then probably no. the company which rendered the robots (Industrial Light %26amp; Magic) most likely does not use software available for consumers. chances are, a bunch of smart guys in their company wrote all of their software.
