I need help on the level where your in the dam for Transformers on the Wii?

I'm stuck on the part after you destroy the fans where you have to destroy the power generators so you can get to the All-Spark.I need help on the level where your in the dam for Transformers on the Wii?When I played this level and I got to the fans, I did the following to finally beat the level: Go to the closest fan to you (use nitrous to get there faster if you need) then, destroy the fan with 3 to 4 punches. Once the fan explodes, turn around a walk a few steps away from the fan, then transform into the Camaro and start speeding out. My secret to getting out was to shoot missiles in front of me as I proceeded out of the tunnel. This seemed to "clear a path" for me as I sped out! After you get out of the first tunnel, proceed to the next closest tunnel and repeat the same thing, remembering to walk a few steps before transforming after the fan explodes and continue to shoot missiles on your way out!
