In Transformers 2 they were about before human civilization... and still alive
But they claim to be organisms! Why do Transformers seem to live forever?Well they're made of metal and seem to be entirely robotic so it is conceivable that they could live forever, regardless of their organic nature. The definition of organism is "a living thing that has (or can develop) the ability to act or function independently ". They don't have to die, ever.
But in the Transformers sense, they run on "energon" and when they lose it, they age. Which explains why Jetfire is old looking, he's low on energon. Which is why the Decepticons want our sun, because it is an energon source. Why do Transformers seem to live forever? If they get "Rusted" all over them they might die!!Why do Transformers seem to live forever?Different organisms have different lifespans! Some trees(sequoia) can live for up to 3000 years! And that is not a fictional movie!
